I have had five surgeries in the past year and a half. With all of those surgeries, I have had the wonderful anesthesiologists at Piedmont Triad anesthesia. Each of the anesthesiologist was wonderful and made me feel as if I were there only patient. They comforted me before surgery, and they were great in putting me under prior to surgery.

Horrible experience with Dr. Adaire Locke. She failed read my chart or listen to my directives. Very argumentative and unprofessional. She ended up giving me Fentanyl while I was out after explicit instruction of NO narcotics and I was very sick for days. No management at the practice was willing to discuss. They are what lawsuits are made of I would stay away.

DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE!!! This practice failed to place a bite block in my mouth during surgery. As a result they broke my front bridge completely off. Both the Anesthesiologist and the Anesthetist were repeatedly notified verbally that I had a front bridge. My nurse even gave them a hot pink hand written note reminding them that I had a bridge. When I came out from under the anesthesia after the surgery my front teeth were gone. I thought I was dreaming. While I was trying to get my bearings they handed my teeth to me in a plastic container and immediately told me it was my fault. They kept saying this over and over to the point it got annoying. Even the hospital administrator told my husband everything was my fault. They rushed me out of the hospital recovery room so fast that it was unbelievable!! My sister (who is also a recovery room nurse) could not believe their behavior as she stood there watching them and listened to them telling me everything was my fault!! They didn't even adjust my leg brace before I left. They gave me a leg brace for a 500 pound person. They failed to give me the much needed ice pack that I was supposed to use. And they even failed to give me the proper discharge information. When I returned to my orthopedic doctor the following week he was very upset that I had not worn the leg brace. The nurse in the recovery told me I could remove it when in fact I was supposed to wear it for six weeks straight. This guidance was supposed to have been in the discharge guidance that I did not receive. They wanted me out of there!!! Not only did they break off my bridge, they broke one of the permanent teeth that the bridge was attached. My dentist (who also performs surgery) was appalled that they did not put a bite block in my mouth. He could not believe it. My sister could not believe how they rushed me out of there. It was very humiliating to be around everyone with no front teeth, not to mention my husband seeing me. There were no apologies!! Neither Novant nor Piedmont Anesthesia will talk with me about this. Bridgework is very expensive. Both attendees were very unprofessional!! It was very obvious that they were wanting me out of there. The hospital administrator didn't even talk to me. He left as soon as he told my husband and sister what had happened. Again DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE. Your life is in their hands and they could care less!

It is their business practice to draft 1 more payment out after you have fully paid your bill and then refund you your money 2 months later. There is no excuse for this kind of business practice with all the software options that are available for payment collections.

They sent me to collections after I paid my balance in full, and they’re still trying to come after me for more money. This is a predatory organization that puts their profits over the health of their patients. Avoid at all costs.
