They didn't catch that names didn't match. They stated funds were in when they were not, they stated that they would meet at their Blacksburg office at the start of the process but did not allow for that option. However, the largest issue was that they ended up changing something on an already notarized document and refused to provide detail as to what was changed, and seemed to actively try to hide the fact that they were doing so until directly asked. We will not be using this office for further real estate transactions and urge that others consider the same.

I am from Savannah Georgia and was travelling thru Virginia. I needed papers notarized and sent overnight. Lauren Mabry and attorney Grayson Shelton were very helpful. As a retired attorney and Judge, I was very impressed by their courtesy and professionalism. As a realtor in the NRV, I strongly advise AGAINST anyone using this law office. Patrick directly missed significant title issues that encumbered two properties. He has accepted responsibility for these issues but has not followed through in clearing them up. It has been ongoing for 9 months and has prevented the listing of a neighboring property. Patrick and his staff have consistently failed to respond to inquiries in any reasonable manner. All communications including email go into a black hole. I have been told by staff on numerous occasions that they don’t know anything about the status of the file and that they’d have to talk to Patrick and he would call me… Patrick does not call me. I have had to resort to going into the office to which I am also told Patrick has no time, any time, to give updates despite sitting in his office 10 ft away in the back. My client was told by the office he would receive copies of documents they had him sign months ago to which they have yet to provide, they don’t know where they are, and don’t know when they can find them. If you’re looking for an attorney who is non responsive and doesn’t stand by their mistakes this office is for you.

The most disorganized attorneys office that has no respect for their clients. NOTHING was done in a timely matter. They can't keep track of the cases they do have. It took two months to complete a simple name change on a deed. The first time had the wrong name on the deed. I would never recommend them and still waiting for them to mail me the deed that at least got filed on March 12th. The clerk will mail me a copy for a small fee. Please do yourself a huge favor and find a different attorney. When I expressed to them I was not happy with my experience with Patrick Moore the front desk person hung up on me! That should tell you something. I had to give them one star to even post this statement. Run and do not look back.
