It’s been a year and my expungement is still incomplete. It’s been sitting on the judges desk now for 6 months just “waiting” I’ve been told. I feel that this office is not proactive and have taken absolutely zero action to get a status from the judge, not so much as an inquiry, phone call, email, status conference… NOTHING!!! I paid thousands now it’s just crickets… they should get half up from and half when complete so there’s motivation on their part.

Sheryl and Hal are well-poised, ethical, professional, responsive, strong negotiating skills, great situational judgment, provide sound advice and advocate, and diligent just to name a few. Overall fantastic!!

We adopted a child and were told that ICPC takes 5 to 10 business days to go through. It took us 15 business days to file with Hal. He charged 6.5k to file icpc. Which is about 2-4k with other firms. his firm asked for multiple copies of the same information and told us they had filed. Hal also said that the state is very slow in filing. He lied because come to find out that the state was quick but the icpc hal filed was late and also incomplete prolonging the process. Our agency told us to find a new lawyer but we could not because this was the lawyer the birth parents picked. Little did they know how incompetent they would be with our situation and how expensive they were to file paperwork our agency provided them.
