The senior residence in which I live attempted to evict me from my apartment after I was discharged from the hospital and required help to be home. I contacted MD Legal Aid and because of the excellent attorney assigned to my case, the complaint was dismissed.

I had a negative experience. I was interviewed in the beginning and was told that I qualified for their services. Made an appointment for the second interview and then I was told that I no longer qualified for their services. My attorney Helen was professional throughout the process but they should have known from the beginning that they weren’t going to help. Maryland Legal Aid wasted my time and now I have to find a affordable attorney to represent me.

I have had a terrible experience with this office. I went for my intake interview then for a month I called and left messages and nobody bothered to return my calls. Very unprofessional!!

They have a great service to the people of MD. I won a case between apartment bldg and myself

Never ever have gotten a return phone call or email shame shame people are in need
