I retained John Kappel in 2016 when I saw my marriage heading in a negative direction. I knew I needed to be prepared to protect my financial interests should my husband at the time follow through with threats to my financial viability. John was patient, understanding and straight forward in directing me how to best prepare myself should I end up in divorce proceedings. John continued his council as needed through the next few years providing guidance as I requested. Our divorce was filed by my spouse in 2019, and finalized in July of 2020.
