Charles Bear, attorney part of the firm of Randall L Brown & Associates, PLC of Portage, Michigan helped a couple of dead beats rip-off my deceased mother & step father. Mother was in her 80s, dying of stomach cancer & and on numerous mind altering drugs including morphine. With the help of Charles Bear the two deadbeats got mother to sign a will leaving them everything. Needless to say mother was not in her right mind at the time - didn't know what day of the week it was & talked continuously about relatives visiting her that had been dead for 50 years. The deadbeats with the help of Charles Bear also became guardians of the step father in the nursing home & more or less lived in the family residence 'rent' free, The nursing home wanted to put the step father on Medicaid. Because he had extinguished his own funds. However that required a signature from the guardians. With the help again of Charles Bear the deadbeats refused to do it & in the meanwhile cashed the step father's pension and social security checks, spent the money on themselves & to pay attorney Bear. Finally Social Services got into the act. The deadbeats were evicted. The step father's checks were turned over to the nursing home. With no money left Charles Bear dropped the deadbeats & stopped representing them. Charles Bear is not a stupid man. Yet he helped these two deadbeats rip off the elderly. He is as guilty as they & his license to practice law should be revoked.
