I just love Dr.Read. He listens which is the most important thing you can ask for from your dr. This is my 4th baby and I have used him with other pregnancies. I highly recommend him.

I absolutely love going to Dr.Read! I was referred by my mother in law while I was pregnant. My whole pregnancy they were very kind and caring, his nurses are the sweetest people I've ever met! Every visit, they made me feel comfortable and ensured my baby was ok. I had a rough pregnancy towards the end and Dr.Read made sure I was taken care of fairly fast if there was the slightest doubt in his mind that something could be wrong with my baby. Right after he delivered my daughter he gave everyone a hug and congratulated us, which made us feel like we were more then just another patient. My after care appointments and getting my birth control was great, they worked with my work schedule and got mean as soon as my birth control came in. He makes sure you fully understand whats happening and walks you through the process. By far the best doctor I have ever seen. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Read has been my OB / GYN for more than 21 years. He delivered all three of my children and is now the OB that both of my daughters see. He is amazing in every way from his care to his bedside manner to his great sense of humor. Every interaction with Dr. Read and his staff has been a top notch experience. Even the nurses at the hospital where my babies were delivered said they all love him!

I cannot recommend Dr. Read and his staff enough. I was impressed with them when I first became a patient in 2017, but recent events have made me even more grateful that Dr. Read is my OBGYN. In 2017, Dr. Read implanted an IUD which has been a complete lifesaver for me. I went from having horrific menstrual problems to not having a period at all - literally all symptoms gone! That, in and of itself, was a huge blessing. This week, however, I had to have my IUD replaced after a somewhat traumatic experience. I contacted Dr. Read's office in tears and very upset. One of his nurses, Shelly, was very attentive - she let me cry out my whole story to her. She showed concern and compassion for me instead of acting clinical and distant like some medical professionals can do. She immediately relieved many of my fears and assured me that everything was going to be okay. The next step was to get a new IUD which was going to cost well over $1000, but I do not have health insurance or that kind of money to pay outright. She talked to Dr. Read and called me back with a payment option that I could handle. In fact, their plan to get me a new IUD really left me speechless. Dr. Read's kindness and willingness to work with me on the cost is something I cannot ever repay. Shelly's compassion and concern for my situation was invaluable to me and I'll never forget it. Two days after this problem started, I now have a new six year IUD and another 100 reasons to tell you...if you are looking for an OBGYN, look no further than Dr. Martin Read.
