If I could give negative stars. This office is literally worthless. They only recently started actually answering the phones. And it seems that only one guy actually knows what he's talking about. They offer services just to refer you somewhere else. It's definitely always full of pregnant people that very obviously don't want to be there. If you call after 12, it's always the same guy that answers the phone. This entire office has so much internal drama, I think they forget it's supposed to be a resource to the Naval community. Can't imagine anything else being more important than legal issues. Like helping people handle divorces, or establishing a Will, getting things Notarized, or simple legal advice. Kind of what they're there for. If you ask me, this OS2 needs to be fired, blows my mind they let an OS run a LEGAL office anyway. Definitely inexperienced, unqualified, and definitely not mature enough to be in any sort of position of authority. Definitely should be held accountable for the toxic work environment, fraternization, favoritism, and unsolicited inappropriate behavior she constantly displays, from what I have seen myself. Yall are better off going to the Little Creek Office, or googling the Navy's coupon for a free lawyer consult and going somewhere out in town. Or better yet, flood this office so they actually have to do their job. OS2 Lorenzo good luck!

LTJG Weaver, James was great! Super professional, great energy, knowledgeable, and truly an amazing attorney to have on my side. Made my legal process quick and completely painless. 10 out of 5 for sure.

We waited quite some time for an attorney otherwise I would have given 5 stars. The attorney that assisted us was very thorough, knowledgeable, gave great recommendations and took her time. She even went so far as to notorize our PoAs when we told her we had to go to a civilian because the regular notary was out of office which was super helpful and beyond her job for us. Aside from waiting, the services were great, paperwork was straight forward and easy to obtain. I'd recommend going in to get the paperwork a day or two ahead of when you want to complete it. Then arrive first thing in the morning to get things reviewed and signed. Schedule a few hours of your morning for this.

I first went to NNSY Portsmouth Legal office for notary services but was told to go to Norfolk Naval Base. I head over here to ask help with my docs. I was told that they don’t do notary public and they don’t have a seal. Plus, the person that do notary is out for the day. ???? That’s around 0945. She told me to just go to Navy Federal Bank for notary services. Please don’t waste your time. Just head over the bank. Lesson learned. God bless everyone! Just sharing.

So I looked up there schedule online and it said that they would take walk-ins today and when I drove over half an hour to get there they said they could not take care of me today. They said that I could come back next Tuesday. I then asked them for a schedule that was updated so that I could make sure to come on a day that they could help me and the sheet they gave me was exactly the same as the online schedule. I asked the PO who gave it to me why I wasn't seen today? She said that all the Attorneys were doing GMT's except for one who was booked up. If that is truly the case then post this stuff online so people don't waste their time. The Chief was cool and tried to help but ultimately the info he gave me didn't apply to my situation, what a bust.
