So far, terrible. My daughter has a doorbell and security camera flood light and no problems. Me! I have had the doorbell camera two weeks and motion not working properly. Called 6 times, 6 different reps. All having me uninstall and go through the resets and checks or resolution. The unit is defective I am sure and why they won't replace I have no idea. Wait time on hold when you call is ridicules long. My motion may work or not work. Or pick up the person walking away. A lot of good that does. One last call at the moment and that is it for me if I do not get a resolution for replacement. Would not recommend to friends at this point.
I was sold by a coworker who raved about your ring bell. She send me a link and told me to download it and have my friends and family try the neighborhood app too. I convinced some friends and family to do so and because they all did it in one day, Your rep decided to cancel my order and remove me from the program? over a $100 product? that I wanted to *try* to maybe get the whole system. its really sad that this is what you practice and that I basically was used as free advertisement for your company and nothing in return.The reps in chat basically just tell you to call. The reps on the phone always say they are going to contact billing and call you back and never do. BASIC BAIT AND SWITCH
Ring does a fantastic job at selling defective merchandise! I have spoken to Customer Service by telephone and online. Prepare to waste your time with the same BS answer(S). If you like dealing with headaches then this is the perfect item for you, RING!
Worst customer service! Horrible product!nI bought two Ring Doorbells. They worked for 2-months, then I was on the phone constantly....for hours, trouble-shooting the problem. They finally sent me an upgraded Ring Pro, which seems to work, but my other doorbell, doesn't work. It never worked AND they won't replace it.nI am trashing the Ring and replacing it with a NEST doorbell.nI suggest you START with the NEST doorbell. I have 4-Nest cameras and 4-Nest smoke detectors. They ALL WORk, not problems,....no "Hours on the phone to customer service" to make them work.
The Absolute Worst Customer Service.nnOrdered a corner kit. Sent me a wedge kit. nCalled and thought it was taken care of when the guy refunded me and said the right kit was sent out again. It showed up wrong again. Called again and talked to a lady who said she sent out the correct corner kit (we'll have to wait and see). What frustrates me is that I was told I was going to see separate emails containing tracking info and return labels. Those emails never came so I have no idea where it is and the customer service line just doesn't pick up my calls anymore. nnThese idiots don't track any orders, can get them right, and then ignore the customers issues. Thinking about returning the damn thing and going with Nest. Zero stars!
