Impossible to get through to someone. But Dr McMichael is very very good Dr. And Shayla Stewart P/A is really nice. Just hard to reach someone.

My son was trying to get an appointment. At first, no one answered the phone. Then several days later, someone answered but hung up on my son. There are tons of doctors available in DFW area. So we found someone else. Not sure how this doctor keeps patients when he has office personnel that doesn't know how to answer the phone.

Very dedicated to his work. Wants to make sure you know what medications you are taking and the side effects. Updates you during visits of new medications that are out and if you want to try them; if you don’t he does not push. I came to Dr. McMicheal from my pediatrician neurologist and it was a very smooth transition. That was 4 years ago. The only CON I have is their business hours and call times, you are unable to leave a message to make and appt. That is with most speciality clinics but just a heads up ????????

Excellent doctor. Very thorough, attentive, and genuine. Listens well to all my questions, and explains the answers perfectly. His entire staff go out of their way to make the office visit stress free, and pleasant.

Good luck getting an appointment - voicemail did not pick up and phone system hung up on me. Three phone calls later and after selecting a different option, I get transferred to new patient appointments. Lady argues with me about her voicemail not working and tells me I have to call back once referral comes in. Won't give me an extension like it is the CIA and her extension is top secret. Wow! This guy must be really special if it takes this much work to see him.
