Navigating communication with Yvonne Sanchez proved to be an exercise in frustration and disappointment. Despite repeated attempts to seek clarity and address questions, her responses were consistently vague and confusing. It was particularly disheartening to endure phone calls where Ms. Sanchez raised her voice and expressed irritation towards me when I sought clarification — after all, isn't that part of her job description?.. Overall, her conduct was unprofessional. For anyone considering legal representation, especially if your case is being handled by the attorneys Samuel Roberti or David Wicker, I strongly advise looking elsewhere, as you would be communicating with their assistant — Yvonne Sanchez. Dealing with Ms. Sanchez's unnecessary communication hurdles only served to exacerbate an already stressful situation.
I had a phone consultation with Mr.Ruberti and I was very pleased. He was very thorough, and pleasant to talk to. He made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this practice even if you are not in the immediate area. I'm in Onslow county and they take clients from this area too.
Receptionist was extremely nice and left me with the feeling the rest of the lawyers office would be just as nice and helpful. Was I ever wrong. The lawyer that called me a day after trying to find consultation, was severely rude and started the call by yelling at me. didn't let me get a word in, or even explain my case before saying UNFORTUNATELY I CAN'T HELP YOU! she had no idea of what my situation was, nor trying to hear it and was obviously angry about something else, then took her frustration out on me. I feel sorry for anyone else trying to get help with disability and ends up with her for a lawyer, (If that's even possible) they will have to deal with a lot more than just a disability case. You should be ashamed of yourself on how you talk to people, especially when they go to you for help.
I spent several years and now battling my chronic illnesses for 6 years after I fell on my job. My condition continues to get worst over the years. A few years after my injury, I was recommended to Roberti Wicker Lauffer & Cinski PA from a family member who helped with his disability case. The lawyer who was assigned to my case was R. David Wicker Jr. He’s very compassionate, and truly concern about my situation. His assistant, Yvonne Sanchez, was also friendly as well. They were so friendly that it felt like I’ve known them for a while. They were almost like my second family. Anytime that I had any questions or concerns, they were always available to assist me throughout the entire process. My case was very difficult because it took years for my doctors to pinpoint the possible cause for my health condition. Mr. Wicker and Ms. Sanchez did an incredible job. I am truly grateful that they looked out for me and helped me win my case. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who needs disability. I am forever thankful. Choosing this law firm was the best decision I have ever made.
Ms. Cinski handled my disability case. It took three denials (normal) before we met remotely via phone in front of a judge. Ms. Cinski prepped me well the day before, and the hearing ended with a fully favorable judgment. Ms. Cinski was able to parse through hundreds of pages of doctor and hospital visits and create a compelling and believable narrative. I just answered her questions as clearly as possible, with specific anecdotes. I felt somewhat in the dark in terms of what records I needed to present (none) and what I needed to do to help the case (nothing). I just focused on documenting my illness with every provider I could find (transplant surgeon, spine doctor, primary care, psychiatrist and therapist, orthopedist, etc.) It helped that all of my records came from UNC, instead of from multiple hospitals / doctors offices. I also researched how to answer potential questions during my hearing. I gleaned most of my information from howtogeton.wordpress.com. I was very pleased with the end result, but I wish that we'd had a formal meet and greet early in the process to set expectations, and periodic check-ins. I also wish I had known that my long term disability insurance company would demand the entire award from me (around $45,000). I'm just glad it's over, and I'm very grateful for Ms. Cinski's hard work. I definitely recommend Ms. Cinski and her colleagues.
