My 8-year-old boy just joined a basketball league. My wife said this basketball court is the only one that's available for public use in the Crestwood/Oak Forest area. I went after work, so it was dark, and I had to use my headlights to practice with my son. Not ideal, but helpful just the same. On a positive note, he scored his first basket the following game!???? My question for SOUTHSIDE COMMUNITY LEADERS: WHY ISN'T THERE MORE PUBLIC ACCESS TO BASKETBALL COURTS? ????

Jesk Park is always a fun family location. Between the 3 playground areas, 2 baseball fields, 2 tennis courts, and large circular pathway for walking/running, it's a great destination for my family to enjoy. Update for 2022: Jesk Park has updated its tennis and basketball courts. Both have been entirely rebuilt with new features such as sun/wind screens for the two (2) tennis courts and a dedicated safer location for the basketball court, which previously was too close to the parking entrance with cars driving by.

We went for a football/cheer event. Lots of fun. Clean park. Memorial benches. Port o pottys.

Great park! Has everything 2 play areas for kids, basketball court, tennis court and walking path!

I walk Jesk Park every day with my dog. So many friendly people and beautiful playground for kids and baseball football and kickball games. Pretty awesome
