Reviews

Do your due diligence. Cynthia Roehl was hired by First American to handle my family's trust estate, but does not hold the beneficiaries' interests before the person who pays her. In a conversation with her, she told me it would cost my family $10,000 to "research and prepare" a document to avoid tax reassessment on my family home and to honor my mother's right to reside in said residence. This was already outlined in my family's trust documentation, and thus a double charge. When I told her I did not need her services, she simply stated "It isn't for you to decide" in so many words, and "What's the matter? You guys have the money." To pursue an official court accounting for what she calls "a funding shortfall" she claims it would be more expensive for her to pursue the $150,000 deficit than to hold the party accountable. I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST HIRING THIS ATTORNEY.
