Either this practice is a scam, if not a very shady business dealing. I came across a different name in a google search for MA Unemployment attorneys. It instructed me to fill out my information on their website. I got a call back from someone named "Joan." She called me back the next day and asked me details about my situation regarding a Superior Court appeal. I thought she may have been a paralegal at least but then she abruptly interrupted me and told me a price range for representation. I then asked if they took on the case concerning a retainer and / or contingency. She said she would have a paralegal call me back but no one did. It was just about the money upfront, which I would have been willing to pay for representation, instead this lady just was trying to do a feeler to see if I would pay upfront the cash. I get it, a business needs to make money. I know this. But shady dealings. No one ever called me back, and I tried calling the number back but it didn't leave an attorney greeting or voicemail rather some general default voicemail recording. Beware, potential scam. Very shady.
