Best phone call I ever made. While speaking with Mr. Rothkoff for the first time, he asked "why are looking for legal help with managing your mother's estate?" As Power of Attorney for my mother, I was terrified I would make a mistake that would be to her financial detriment. I lived in one state, she was currently in another and was re-locating to a third. I had heard horror stories from people who just didn't know how to navigate elder care law. When I told him such, he replied: "We'd love to help you. When can you come in?" I am a Power of Attorney for a family member unable to take care of himself. For 18 months I tried to navigate the health system on his behalf and did my best to take care of him myself. I was getting no where on my own and was referred to Rothkoff Law Group when I asked another attorney if he could point me in the right direction. For three years they've taken me under their wing. Bryan is the attorney that was assigned to me, Kaitlin is the case worker, and Siobhan the social worker. Kathleen has also assisted me on occasion. All of them have been instrumental in me keeping my sanity. Navigating the health system shouldn't be as difficult as it is, but it is and that's a fact. My family can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with Rothkoff Law! Bryan Adler’s calming and humorous personality makes everything easy to understand and feel less overwhelming. He’s easy to get ahold of and makes you comfortable asking any question. Tina Kane, social worker, has also been wonderful! She has helped us navigate home care, hospital/ rehab visits, and nursing homes. We have emailed them at all hours and they are quick in their responses. They even have community activities, like brunch and bingo (on zoom)! Again, we highly recommend!!
