Reviews

Both Ashley Wilson and Alexandra Alfaro of Walsh LLP have represented me on family legal matters in the past several years. Both are lawyers are incredibly professional, resourceful, knowledgeable, and contributed to a successful outcome which was in the best interests of my son. Highly recommend this firm and their legal counsel.

It was an absolute pleasure working with both Allison Satchwell and Jennifer Krupa. They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable and quick to respond. I spent two years with a previous lawyer/firm and my case went in circles. In switching to Allison and Jennifer, they immediately took over and got everything I needed in such a short period of time. I am so grateful for their incredible hard work, their knowledge and compassion throughout the case. I would highly, highly recommend!

I was referred to Walsh LLP / Tracy Hanson by my accountant for incorporation of my company. Tracy has at every turn provided unconscionably poor service and communication. After being referred, I phoned 2x and left messages with Tracy Hanson's assistant Shelby in May/June 2021, and emailed Tracy personally to step up an initial appointment. She didn't get back to me for weeks. I had to call the front reception and leave a message asking if WALSH LLP had stopped taking on new clients in order to get her to actually call me back. She finally got back to me by email. She provided no direct call or consultation for her work, never explained her fees or services, and sent me confusing paperwork by email to fill out that was essentially the entire corporate package application - which I did myself, then was charge $2000 for. Tracy was unavailable and unable to answer questions I had during the process. I filled out the information by doing my own research. When I came in to sign the final paperwork to incorporate, Tracy was not in the office and I was informed that Tracy was "going to be pretty late" to our scheduled 9AM meeting. They asked if it was okay if Shelby, Tracy's assistant, just went over the package with me. I was livid. I was referred to a lawyer, and I was paying for a legal expert to help me set up my corporation and run through the legalise of my business with me. I insisted to wait for Tracy. At this meeting, Tracy indicated that she would communicate to my accountant information to get some sort of tax credit going. That communication never took place. No follow up was ever done. When I asked if I could have copies of the paperwork to set up my bank account, Tracy said 'I don't think you need that." In fact, I did require my corporation's certificate and articles of incorporation at the bank the next day to set up my account. And Tracy had absolutely no idea. After signing paperwork in 2021, I did not hear from Tracy again until today (one year later). She sent me a bill in the mail for another $400 for maintaining my books - she has never once contacted me for financial information and there has been no communication related to my corporation at all. My books have sat on a dusty shelf for a year. The financial documents are blank(!) Because Tracy hasn't contacted me for them, ever. When I called to complain about the total lack of communication and bad follow through, Tracy stated, " I didn't realize this was an expectation that you had."... I told Tracy I have zero intentions of using her service any longer and wanted my corporate documents. She stated they wouldn't provide them to me without payment for her "services". When I asked her by email to detail what services she had provided this past year, she stated that there was "..no merit in expending any more time or energy addressing this." I've gone through the Google reviews for Walsh LLP and can see that of the twenty or so positive reviews, none seem to include Tracy. But multiple negative reviews seem to relate my exact experience of incompetence and poor communication that seems insidious throughout the company. I strongly recommend that the management of Walsh LLP evaluate what sort of damage this poor service does to their business and reputation. In the meantime, I will actively be letting my colleagues know what a poor experience in corporate law I had with Tracy Hanson and Walsh LLP.

We won! Ashley was a great provider in trial court for Family Family court. She was caring and detailed but most of all did a great job of representation. She was well versed in this area and experienced with this judge. Her style was attentive and she was well educated and quite experienced. Trial court can be difficult but we did exactly what I hoped for. I recommend Walsh to anyone who might need this caliber of lawyers. Very happy win my experience and great result.

I feel compelled to share my experience with dealing with Allison Satchwell. She is very compassionate, approachable and always available to offer support, while keeping me well informed of fees involved. Would highly recommend working with Allison!
