As a woman who can easily understand how others feel, I decided to move on when an attorney refuses to listen to a client's concerns. I chose to work with the Schoenberg family law group. From the start, Debra Schoenberg was honest with me. This set her apart from the dishonest attorneys who were trying to take advantage of my needs by making false promises. It's been less than a year since I switched attorneys, and I'm still very hopeful about getting the court case over with. Debra has already shown that she is a strong advocate for her client's rights and a good lawyer. I will post an update once my case is over, but I am very sure about it.

What a waste of money!! It took them 9 MONTHS!!! to file for child support. So I cannot claim the back pay of anything for those past 9 MONTHS. After almost 2 years and over 200k all I had to show for anything was a custody agreement that was obtained by a mediator. Not only do you pay for your lawyer you have to pay for their aid as well. The lawyer and aid have meetings, that you pay for, before every phone call with you. Their fees are astronomical. I paid less than 1/2 for my new lawyer and got the whole divorce done in less than half of the time. Trust me, go somewhere else. They just stall and stall and stall and collect more and more money. I mean who doesn't file for any support for 9 months!!! I have never been divorced before. I didn't know to do this or that we could not back file. My ex was also ordered to pay for their car in 11/2021 and pay for a loan in 2022. This was signed orders from a judge. My ex never paid. We were ordered to take classes which I did and my ex did not. When I confronted the lawyer I was given the run around. My ex was never made to hold up her end of the bargain. We were always on the defense and getting run over by opposing counsel. What a terrible experience. Debora makes you think she is a "BULLDOG" which she probably is. But once you sign up you are passed on to one of her minions and never to hear from her again. My backup lawyer did nothing but take my money.

Debra helped me a lot while going through a really nasty divorce recently. She helped me get through a really tough time when I expected to lose just about everything I owned and even made sure I didn’t have to pay my ex wife alimony along with helping me understand the mediation Process and work through that. I would recommend her and Schoenberg family law as a whole for legal representation in a divorce. Everyone in the office was extremely friendly and understanding and also gave me a lot of confidence in knowing that I hired an attorney that actually cared about my case and was going to help me through it!
