I worked with Shasta Brooks to create a will before my first child was born. Shasta is a wonderful and knowledgable attorney. But what makes her stand out from the rest is her patience and understanding. After my 93 year old mother moved to New Mexico recently, she needed to update her wills and power-of-attorney. Shasta spent much more time with her than I would have expected, explaining everything she needed to know (often multiple times) so that my mother would feel comfortable making the changes. And no, she was not charging by the hour, which made her patience and the time spent with my mom even more meaningful.

She took the time to listen and understand our wishes. She did a fantastic job at making my family feel secure and taken care of should a tragedy occur.
