We had an amazing Fishing Trip with Captain Steve this morning. We headed out at 0900 on a clear wind-free day. Now, generally speaking, no wind means no fish. That was definitely NOT the case today!!! Captain Steve took us to some great fishing spots. Big Reds were the choice of the day, along with a flounder and some Speckled Sea Trout. And we “caught” a pineapple that escaped from someone’s boat!!

Steve is everything you want in a fishing guide. We fished with him on March 8, 2022. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and patient. He put us on red drum, speckled trout, and flounder. He’s easy to talk to and time passes quickly on his boat. My wife and son must’ve gotten tangled lines 4 times, we got a line wrapped around his prop, and we lost a couple of his rigs to oyster beds: he was patient and easygoing through it all. He’s just an interesting guy to fish with so give him a try.

Captain Steve took great care of us. He was fun, knowledgeable, friendly, dependable, and helped us catch several big fish and several smaller ones we could keep too! Highly recommend this guy if you’re looking for a fishing charter in the area! He even had drinks, snacks, and sunscreen on board for us!

Had a great time with Captain Steve! We caught a ton of Redfish and a trout. I think we pulled in at least 30 fish altogether. Maybe more. Captain Steve is a great guy with a great sense of humor. We highly recommend him.

What a blast! Boat ride, fishing and conversation made for a memorable experience. We live in Beaufort and would highly recommend this charter.
