Attorney Doug McMillan, his ability to do a proper closing is definitely in question. fails to appear at closings and does not properly represent his clients. made a big mistake on my closing and now refuses to return phone calls. forced me to fie a complaint with the State Bar of Georgia, hire another attorney to correct his mistakes, and now I have to sue him for lost monies. Definitely would not use this firm to file for a dog license. thry would probably mess it up. When a formal complaint is filed against him his memory is extremely bad or is it blant lies

This firm came highly suggested when I was searching for legal assistance in the area. After a very breif consultation, Mr. Shingler informed that we could first send a certified letter that would give my ex husband 30 days to refinance and that we could go to court if the request was not followed through. Mr. Shingler charged $250 to mail 1 certified letter and never returned my phone calls to follow up to go to court over the matter. It is now over 6 months later and this firm has not returned a single message or phone call after several calls. Would NOT recommend doing business with this firm, highly unprofessional and priced higher than any attorney in the area with no follow through.

Mr. Shingler started working on my case immediately after my initial consultation. He did not Charge the $50.00-150.00 that a steadily increasing number of counsel charges nowadays. He spent a good portion of his morning asking in depth questions about every aspect of the allegations made against me. For him to have spent nearly an hour with me without the fee speaks volume itself. He could of been handling his current case loads tasks! Mr. Shingler directly played part in having my charges thrown out and even worked with getting a warrant handled stemming from probation because of the alleged charges. I can say that I had to turn myself in and was quickly released from custody! If your familiar with DCS (probation) you know that you can sometimes sit in jail for a month or longer Before you get a hearing. Mr. Shingler shocked me again by charging a beyond fair price for all of this. Mr. Shingler is not afraid to tell you the good, bad, & ugly factors working in or against your favor. Shingler & McMillan has a client for life!

So far it's taken over TWO YEARS for an adoption and still not finished! My daughter calls and emails to no avail. Nobody returns her calls. Today she called to say she wants her $3,000 back and they returned her call with in 5 minutes. HORRIBLE!!!!
