Called off of a referral. Referred attorney was booked to far out so the receptionist referred me to rachel who apparently had time to set up a consult. The consult was 45 minutes and cost $200 and the secretary was very prompt in setting this up. After talking to Rachel she advised that she would need a $7500.00 retainer to get involved in my custody case. Then she never called me back after I got the retainer and I left messages with her, her secretary, and the receptionist who told me they couldn't reach anybody on her floor. I feel as if the consult was a scam , and when I asked for a refund since she has been unreachable, the receptionist told me she would send a message to Rachel's floor but could do nothing else. All this firm did was break my bank even further during an already difficult time and instruct me to obtain a retainer that I had to get a loan for, all this while my kids have already been placed with me temporarily and I'm still paying for child support. I could not be more disappointed with the experience I've had with rachel laborde at Shuttleworth and Ingersoll P.L.C.
Sarah Thielen has been amazing to work with. I call her whenever I have anything I need legal assistance with. She is polite, friendly, kind, and responsive. I have always felt like my issues matter to Sarah and that is important when working with an attorney. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Sarah for always being there for me and my family.
Estate planning and execution are a difficult thing. Executing a will specifically happens during a very difficult time emotionally, let alone the phone calls, forms, etc. needed to resolve an estate. The environment at Shuttleworth and Ingersoll is professional and caring and greatly eased the burden. The entire staff was great, but I specifically worked with Don Johnson and would recommend him and the firm to anyone who wants peace of mind.
