Ms. Alden is an amazing attorney that is extremely knowledgable on a vast array of topics, including but not limited to federal disability laws, VA disability guidelines, Equal Opportunity statutes, Workers Compensation rules and Federal Disability regulations. She really is one of the most talented and compassionate attorneys I have ever met. She has always been easily assessable whenever I needed to get hold of her to discuss legal matters and she always eased my nerves during difficult times. I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Alden and I would definitely recommend her to anyone that looking for a highly qualified attorney who works hard, goes the extra mile and truly cares about her clients! If that is the type of attorney you are looking for, then I believe you will be extremely pleased if you hire Attorney Kristin Alden.
BEWARE! I am posting this review from my sons account as my review is not showing up publicly. Sharing all your social media accounts with this law firm is not a good idea. I believe they have blocked my google account to prevent me from posting my negative experience. I received a prompt response when I submitted my initial inquiry. I was then offered an initial consultation with James Eisenmann and a document review totaling $1,190. I was a bit shocked by the cost but I decided to move forward based on the following statement "We typically charge for initial consultations and thus offer them only if we think we can help". My initial consultation was conducted on March 30, 2021. I paid for an hour ($590) but only received 23 minutes which consist of discussing the Hearing process and a few minutes discussing how weak my case was. I was led to believe that I was going to receive assistance with filling out my PCI which was due the following week and receive a retainer agreement to assist with settlement negotiations. Considering the $600 I paid for a document review you would think I would have gotten some pointers to aid in filling out my PCI request. I have contacted Mr. Eisenmann Legal Assistant Josh Rothman on several occasions regarding the PCI and retainer agreement. Two weeks later I am out of $1190 dollars and still have yet to receive a response from Josh Rothman. What a way to make money.
They’re terrible I sent all the evidence and provided everything with my case and everything I had told the Paralegal Josh, was legit. I didn’t even get a consultation and I asked about contingency basis it’s making me believe because I have three disabilities that this firm practices abelism, I never got a consult and I never got past the Paralegal Josh. He wasted my time. Lawyers are lazy crooks
I was in the same situation as most of you, confused, anxious, hesitant, upset due to being wronged, and seeking someone to not only hear me out but also provide sound legal advice other than "this is going to be costly". I had already retained counsel from another law firm, which proved to be a mistake and I found myself seeking counsel in the midst of discovery. I had spent 2 years of time, lots of money, and energy to have the ball dropped at such a pivotal point. My case was an official hot mess! The law firm I spoke to after firing my initial attorney only advised me that if I was to proceed, my case would get very expensive, but they were more than happy to represent me. Feeling uneasy and that I wasn't provided any real advice for the consult I paid for, I decided to continue my search and that is when I was referred by a colleague to Kristin Alden and her law firm. Little did I know, that was the game changer for my case. I had a single consultation with Kristin that felt a lot more like a conversation and for the the first time during my matter that I felt some one listened; she was patient, informative, and brilliant with her advice. Why brilliant? Because I followed her advice to the letter and within 3 weeks my case had leapt from Agency counsel saying they would "never" consider settlement to having a settlement offer in my inbox, which Kristin reviewed. Hindsight being 20/20 I probably could have saved myself a lot of time, stress, and energy, if I would have gone with the Alden Law Group from the beginning. Let my mistake be your lesson, go with Kristin and the Alden law group. Additionally, Kristin Alden and her law group have CLOUT. Yes, they have a professional reputation that made the agency counsel change their entire strategy and approach. Kristin and The Alden Law group is the real deal, do yourself a huge favor and make sure to at least pursue the consultation, it is worth every penny and then some.
Great attorneys for working seniors.
