Better off representing yourself! First attorney was very good but left to go to another firm. Singleton-smith lied to me about my original lawyer and assigned attorney Hall. She was so incompetent that the judge paused trial to address her preparation directly. Her lack of knowledge in the law and my case was extremely disturbing and resulted in a huge loss. When disputing charges they refused to reimburse for their attorney's horrible representation. Edit after Singleton-Smith's comment: They told me that my original attorney retired when in fact he moved firms. I only found out the truth when I saw him at court during our trial (he was there representing someone else). Attorney Hall that replaced him was making calculations just before we walked into court for items I have already calculated and were confirmed by the paralegal. I was told that everything I sent in would be placed into a spread sheet to be centralized in one document but that never happened. This new attorney was more preoccupied with creating a script for me that we didn't even use than to devise a strategy. She had no knowledge of how retirement and pension should be divided or what date they are based on (date of divorce not separation). She lacked confidence and assertion which made her stumble over her thoughts. This firm is more preoccupied with taking your money then to properly represent you, hence why I had the finance department hounding me during trial for additional payments.

I had such a lovely experience with this office. They keep you updated and the paralegals are prompt at responding. I worked with Lamarre and he made my child custody case a pleasant experience given the circumstances. I’ve read other reviews describing that he is realistic and goes out of his way to explain the court process and I completely agree. Highly recommend.

As I was starting my divorce process I was of course lost and nervous. However Ms Jenny was calm, patient and extremely knowledgeable regarding all of the issues that I had to deal with regarding my case, If there was anything she was unsure about, she had a team of attorneys that she consulted with and was able to get back to me in a timely manner.
