David Slepkow is extremely unprofessional. He was my landlord for a year, I moved into a completely filthy and unclean apartment and was told it was because of covid. I had to spend hours cleaning and scrubbing dust caked floors and the previous tenants hair out of the bathtub upon moving in. When i left, because i didnt perfectly scrub the bathtub (which would constantly get gross because the drain was on the wrong side and it was so slippery you needed a shower mat, not to mention had literal hair in it when i moved in!) and a piece of stained glass window chipped ( due to his negligence, the thing was old and decrepit and in my door and a piece fell out when i shut my door ) 700 dollars was withheld from my deposit. He paid to have the place professionally cleaned and the stain glass window set correctly for the next tenant with MY money. He is clearly a wealthy lawyer who thinks he can push around his tenants. His property manager is extremely unprofessional and rude too and even walked into my apartment without knocking or informing me, she waited until i left for work and didnt realize my sister had slept over that night. My balcony was second floor she would climb up the fire wscape and look into my windows, her name is Sue. Extremely unsettling, do not sign a lease with this man or his wife Debbie.
