I looked around for a long time to find a good lawyer someone with some integrity that was going to treat their clients fairly. Chuck Messina was that guy, if you want someone that’s honest and going to listen and make sure they help you with what you need I would personally recommend Mr.Messina and this law firm they do great work.

First and foremost, I owe Mr. Messina my utmost gratitude. In a FREE 30 minute consultation, Chuck heard my story, analyzed the situation, and then gave me answers to questions (questions I wanted to ask) that I hadn’t even presented to him yet. He is knowledgeable when it comes to family court. It is evident that this is his specialty. Empathy comes to mind, in more ways than one, when describing Chuck’s character. He kept my son’s best interest in mind when discussing what would be the best approach to family court. He then described to me what the financial obligation would be while working with him, which he wanted to give context for up front so not to be blind sided after entering a working contract with him. This had an impact on the conversation because he would be trying my case an hour away from his normal jurisdiction. In all of this, he recommended two lawyers which he respects deeply, closer to the county in which my case will be tried. I respect this decision to tell me this, as it would be financially less burdensome. My takeaway from this free consult, is that I would pay Chuck to work anywhere in the state of NY, just to know that he would have my son’s best interest at heart.

Quick to answer with Chuck, I asked some questions and I didn’t understand exactly what he was saying then was told I’m not explaining it for the fourth time to you…. I’m not sure what you are not understanding was my stand point very unprofessional!! We all don’t know legal terms etc… at the end I’m told not helping you basically a waste of time is how I took it!!!!

Charles Messina gave me great legal advice about what I was inquiring about, but his return phone call to me was very unprofessional and nasty. I have dealt with numerous attorneys in my life and he was by far the most nastiest one of them all. Again I appreciate the legal advice but if I had to choose him as an attroney even if I had a great feeling that he would possibly win my case, I wouldn’t hired him because first impressions are everything. Thanks for your response. I wouldn’t want you to represent me because again the way you spoke to me once i answered the call you very nasty to me and I wasn’t rude at all to your staff. Your secretary never asked what was the matter regarding and again I didn’t elaborate so where was I wrong at nor rude? If she would’ve asked what was the matter regarding I didn’t mind explaining like i mentioned to you over the phone so again I wasn’t rude when I called your office, but you were very rude and nasty to me when you returned my call. As you can see from other reviews Mr Messina has a very unprofessional demeanor. How someone like this is allowed to keep his license is beyond me. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy.
