SSA, Office of Disability Ajudication & Review

The male receptionist or operator is extremely rude. He constantly transfers my calls over until it's time for the office to close instead of assisting me, which is his job. When he finally does answer the phone, he's sighing, making heavy breathing noises, and cuts me off while I'm trying to ask for assistance. I have been holding off on writing a review, but today I've had enough. I have never been rude nor disrespectful to this person. There is no reason that this man who is employed by the Social Security office, which is under the federal government should be cutting me off and hanging up in my face. This isn't his personal phone line. It's very unacceptable. The only time I'm able to get assistance from the Alexandria office of Appeals is when he isn't working. This is a federal government establishment and it should be represented with more professionalism than what he's displaying. I've been calling since 2:00 pm today to speak to his higher up to file a complaint, but of course he is refusing to answer and immediately transferring my calls to were I'm unable to get through to anyone.

I called on June 6th, 2018 and found the receptionist to be very helpful, and knowledgeable! June 11th' 2018 I called to get name of the receptionist, which is Ralph. Ralph is such a life saver or can I say a Caption America!
