Starwood Hotels Owns Monarch beach Resort in California and I was a Guest at one of their locations. For a 5 Star Resort the service was the worst. Never Once in 5 Days that we stayed there did Housekeeping show up to clean the room unless we called several times and on two Occasions threaten a Online Bad Review. To make matters worse I forget a expensive Belt in the room when we left as we were dealing with a Toddler and packing at the same time Upon contacting the resort about this they made no attempt to help us or check in to the matter. I am now convinced that the Housekeeping staff either stole it or threw it out and in either case there actions were unacceptable. And worse was their response in trying to help us or compensate us for our loss. SHAME ON YOU STARWOOD HOTELS>
