Steiner Law offices was recommended to me by our financial advisor. They responded right away to my online inquiry about getting a home deed. They got the deed done within the week and the process was very easy. They were very friendly and professional.

This office is ridiculous, they charge ridiculous fee just for a demand letter $303,, that is abuse, they think because they are attorneys can abuse people, I’m behind of 1 payment (14 days), and I already got demand letter ,charging me beside de mortgage payment a extra fee of $303 plus late fee $75 just for this demand letter from this steider & associates, that is absolutely abusive and ridiculous , what a easy way to make money abusing people, Don’t trust this company at all! They are the worse!! So impotent , But God is watching what this people do, they gonna get the same, We should all sue this steider & association for the abuse of charging high ridiculous fees!!

Mr. Steider crossed an number of ethical, if not legal, lines in my dealings with him. He charges $300/hour for work his receptionist or paralegal does. They do a terrible job of actual complying with the contracts they write. Contracts which will bleed you dry if you're the buyer. Mr. Steider helped his client steal thousands of dollars from me while he couldn't even be bothered to sign his own demand letters. And yes, he works with the Escrow Company. He is recommended to the sellers when they sign. And there's another guy in house who will help that same seller when they decide to sue you, take all your money, and kick you out of your house. I think one of the other reviewers suggestion is fine. But I'd like to make one of my own. Report Mr. Steider to the State Bar Association. NM Bar Complaint. That's what I'll be doing.

These guys work with Sunwest. We had an issue with our first mortgage payment (lost in the mail) and the only notice I received about this was a demand letter from Steider & Associates - with $1,000 in fees. I contacted Sunwest who recommended I contact Steider directly. I did so, it took them several days to respond, and they refused to waive the fees claiming Sunwest had given us notice. I asked some questions of the person who had returned my call but she seemed to be an office manager or receptionist and had no info. It would have been nice to speak to the person who had made the call but I guess they were a bit too busy.

These people stole our money and never would hear our side of the story.. We made our payment on time to sun west escrow, but they returned our check for not having an account number. We did not receive the check until it was passed the grace period of course. Sun west never attempted to notify us of the issue. Then we got a demand letter from this firm and were charged $200 in fees for being late. A lady by the name of Ginger finally contacted my wife and just said sorry but they would not return our money as per contract. We notified the Attorney General’s office and made a complaint. Anyone who has experienced the same please make a complaint with the AG’s office to stop these companies from ripping us off.
