Steve mishandled 2 cases that ultimately resulted in unfavorable verdicts. Now the facts came out in a separate case, It clearly shows that he totally miss handled my cases. Steve does not have his clients best interest at heart and is very difficult to work with! Good luck if you plan on hiring him.

Best Lawyer to ever represent me. Greenberg fought all my cases and did well on all. He is real with everyone upfront he will tell you what he thinks about the case and what are the percentages of him winning the case. I always call him when I get into any trouble even traffic cause I know he is going to do his best and NOT half step. I highly recommend him to anyone who is fighting a case that looks unbeatable because he is the guy who will find that one mistake that would set you free.

Steve is seriously the best attorney you can possibly get. He is professional and is a wonderful lawyer. I would recommend him to anyone whose fighting the scariest charge u can possibly think of. I thought I would never have hope and ever get my life back and Steve changed that:) He will stand by your side no matter what the situation is. I listened to every thing Steve said and he recommended that we did a bench trial which made me super nervous and everyone thought I was nuts for not doing a jury trial and feel it made me nervous but I trusted Steve no matter what and I did every single thing he suggested I listened to everything he is so knowledgeable about everything and can easily reassure you when your having second thoughts. Anyways I took the bench trial and the judge found me not guilty of my 3 counts of drug induced homicide , I believe that I’m the first person ever in McHenry county to be found not guilty. Thanks to Steve :) if I took a jury trial they could have found me guilty of a lesser charge, my point is always listen to what Steve says even if it makes You nervous because he seriously knows what he’s doing. I know that if I ever need him again that he will be there for me , also he is very affordable lawyer for the crimes he fights . I told him once in the beginning that it would probably take until we went to trial to pay him what I owe. He never not once throughout the two years we fought my case did he ask for money . And once my trial came I paid him everything I owed him. My point being is in the beginning when we were trying to find a lawyer they all seemed money hungry and with the county I’m in it’ll cost over10000 $ I had to pay Steve a small starting fee and after that I just paid him whenever I had it and he just really cares about you and how your doing , he talked to my mom when I first got arrested and actually talked to her and was very nice and understanding without money, where the other lawyers my mom called wouldn’t even talk about it without money it was crazy. Don’t ever have to worry about hesitating with Steve he is amazing and he’s a pleasure to meet with and build a trusting relationship that you should have with your lawyers :) thank you Steve for keeping me out of jail And giving me my life back and giving me a second chance that I never thought I would have :) thank you for fighting for me and staying by my side through it all!! :)

I can't believe there is so many negative reviews. Mr. Greenburg is the best attorney I ever met. He has a great track record. I've personally referred many client and he has yet to strike out. I can see where people have complaints about him but yall must realize that you have to let him do his job. Is my eyes he is the only attorney. Keep up the great work.

He abandoned my son in court. Curt/Steven Greenberg took 2,500 from me and my son never ever got to see his discoveries he never discussed any additional payments with me until. 5 month later after i received that in a text someone needs to make some payments for my son. Steven Green was very unprofessional and told the judge that he could not get along with me or his client we are very respectful. No stars
