I am a second home owner of Rieger Homes. 22 years ago, Rieger Homes built me one of the most beautiful homes that I’d ever seen and resided in, my ‘Dream Home’, of which I dreamed about during my 20 year career in the NYPD, and gifted myself and family with after retirement. I went with Rieger because my first interactions with their staff was extremely professional, pleasant, very funny, but most of all, I found that they were all knowledgeable about their products, showing me exactly what I was getting in the end.....not like some of the other home builders who show you all of the upgrades and then proceed to build something entirely opposite of what you might see in a model home. Anyhow, I built and I lived there comfortably with my family without any construction issues for approximately 19 years, loving it, until a house fire completely destroyed my home and all of its contents that I had so hard worked for when providing for the family. Although I realized that we were blessed coming out of it alive without a scratch, the devastation caused me not to want ‘anything’ anymore, prompting me to consider moving into a rental property for the remainder of my life, especially since the kids were older now and would be out on their own soon anyway. I spent my entire career helping others, making decisions without hesitation, and this was the first time that I actually needed help, but was embarrassed to ask....something referred to as ‘police pride’. Before making a final decision, I reached out to Rieger Homes to explain my situation, and to my surprise, one of the Reiger Brothers, ‘the owner’ who I’ve renamed, ‘The Property Brothers of Newburgh’, called me back to offer his sentiments, also explaining that he could rebuild. With that, I felt like I had just been reborn and decided to rebuild again. It took a little over a year and a half to get back into my ‘New Dream Home’, but I’m here. Both Steve and Ian Rieger are beautiful people and ensured me, through his wonderful staff, that my home would be even more beautiful, comfortable and everything I wanted in a home, just like before, 22 years previously....AND IT IS. I love this company, I love the Rieger Staff Family, and I appreciate all that the staff has done for me and my family, and would recommend to anyone looking for a great solid home to definitely reach out to Rieger Homes. I have a Rieger home and I have to say I'm very impress. The work is phenomenal the energy saving is so true! The house itself has an amazing build quality. It has everything modern kitchen, fireplace, huge bathrooms, and bedrooms, strong foundation, and above all the house is beautiful, best one in the town!!! I love my Rieger home!!

The real estate agent Tina Townsend should of been HONEST about the taxes!!!! She NEGLECTED to tell us about the Village taxes at all!! Found out about the village taxes as I sat at the closing !!!! Taxes are too high !!!!! Rocks rocks rocks and rocks!!!!!!!
