The office staff was very short and rude with us throughout the whole process. We hired this lawyer in Dec - early January. Paid upfront and was told that it would include the filing of divorce paperwork and everything else. It is now October and we were informed that our lawyer is leaving the firm and was reassured he was trying to finish up his cases before leaving. We then received emails stating there were more charges we needed to pay for and to come and pick up our paper work. Drove an hour to Southport to pick up the papers and were told they were not ready. An hour later we got an email saying they were ready to be picked up. A conversation was had about mailing the paperwork and was told we had to sign for them. Drove an hour to come and sign and were told they were mailed. This place is joke and I do not recommend them what so ever to anyone. We are stuck now finding a new lawyer and having to pay someone else. We are out money and 10 months of our time being no closer to an outcome than we were before. Not to mention all the continuances that were filed that we didn’t ask for.

The very first review I read here is nearly a carbon copy of what happened to me. The lawyer, I was assigned to was very short tempered, their communication was horrible, then I received an email stating that he was leaving the firm. Then they spent all my retainer already, and an additional $4400 after that. I am now in the middle of a divorce, $9000 in the hole, and nothing has really been done. This is the worst I’ve ever been treated. Completely non-professional. Do not use these people… They are crooks!
