How do you garnish someone that you haven’t even successfully served? Then my interest is higher than what I actually owe. This firm is disgusting and will do anything to get money from someone.
This company is money hungry when you call and ask them about payment arrangements they don’t even work with you about it. They just do whatever they want and want whatever money. Very unprofessional and the workers are very incompetent.
I normally don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with M. Richard Epps P.C., hoping to get some answers and shed light on their practices. Every time I call this office, the experience is unprofessional. I understand that debt collection is a challenging field, but respect is fundamental. When I called to discuss settling my debt, the only option presented was a minimum payment of $350 per month, which is comparable to a car note. The representative even suggested a payment of $500, which is unreasonable. The letter I received stated that if I couldn't make a payment, I should call to make other arrangements. However, when I proposed paying $250 instead of $350, I was told that my account would only accept $350, leaving me with no choice but to comply. Seeking advice from a lawyer friend, I asked if they were willing to settle the debt with lower payments, as $350 severely impacts my living conditions. Unfortunately, this company seems indifferent. They work with car dealerships that sell faulty cars, and when the car inevitably breaks down, you're forced to surrender it. Subsequently, they hire this law firm to file garnishment documents with the local courts. I regret co-signing for my EX- husband, as now they are coming after me. Interestingly, when my EX-husband called to set up a payment arrangement, he was given a different amount, which seems suspicious. Moreover, the lack of professionalism is evident in their office attire. This is a law firm, yet the staff dress in flip-flops and t-shirts, as if it’s the weekend. Despite this, I maintained my composure while dealing with two rude lawyers who are sworn to uphold the law and ensure fair treatment. I don't feel I was treated fairly. I’m not pulling the race card; I am a taxpayer trying to get back on my feet, but this firm makes it difficult. I want to resolve this debt, but $350 is too high. I suggested a reasonable payment plan, but it was rejected. Now, I will involve the attorney general to seek a fair resolution. I don't wish ill upon them, but they need to improve their public dealings. SMH.
Missed 1 payment and already got a letter threaten to seize my property and garnish my wages ....I missed 1 payment lmao out of a 100 lmfao very money hungry and on top of that I been sick with the flu these are some sorry ass people here
It will take you a million years to pay off this debt because of the ridiculously high interest that you are forced to pay. Thank you, priority auto for the lemon of a car.
