I will forever be grateful to Cathleen. She stepped in for us and took over a complicated case that our previous lawyer had continuously dropped the ball on. The other parent in this case was breaking the court order and trying to keep the children from us by denying parenting time and phone contact, among other things. Cathleen recognized what was best for the children and didn't write us off because of the complexities in our case. Our previous lawyer told us it would be nearly impossible to hold the other parent accountable because we lived in another state and that we should accept that they will have "control" of the children until they are 18. We didn't believe this had to be the case and neither did Cathleen. Cathleen gave us knowledge of the law and guidance. She fought hard for us and focused on facts and Minnesota statutes in order to help our case in court. After our horrible experience with our previous attorney, I did not even know that an attorney could be so responsive, and clear and prompt. Soon after hiring Cathleen my stress began to fade away and for the very first time I felt comfortable with where our case was going and knew that we were now in good hands. Cathleen far exceeded my expectations and I could go on and on about how I feel that she "saved us". Our case is currently under advisement and we are awaiting the judge's decision.
