She was my lawyer in 2017. She mishandled my case horribly. She requested the wrong date for a video that was key evidence, which led to my charges being accepted. At first she told me that i gave her the wrong date. But i reminded her that my freedom was dependent on this video and i wouldn't have given her the wrong date. I told her to check her notes and bring them on the next visit. She never brought those notes and must've realized that she messed up, because she told me that she would take the case pro Bono. Of course I said yes. But during thr 3 yrs of me sitting in jail (and my victim NEVER not once showing up). I was told by Mrs. Faia that my victim was arrested in orleans and gave a statement to the DA stating that "he was high on multiple drugs the night that he was robbed. Keep in mind this is in the end of 2020 (covid). So now I tell Mrs. Faia that I'd like to file another speedy trial. I say another because I requested her to do one in 2018 but she refused and filled a judge trial. Why? She told me that she thought I meant judge trial, and when I told her I that I didn't want a judge trial she told.me that if we tool it back it would pass the judge off. So with trial now being set and the DA knowing that the victim wasn't truthful I was offered simple robbery. But Tanya told me to think about my grandparents (remember it's covid and the world is still in chaos) I asked her and Aubery Harris was it non violent and Tanya told my yes that I would only be doing 2yrs 5months and 15days off if the 7yrs. Which would mean credit for tome served. I told Tanya to give me a few days and to make sure that this wasnt a violent crime. She told me that she would make sure. Of course with covid and how courts were shutting down continuously, I accepted. But a month later I was transferred to doc and given 7yrs. Also I had my girlfriend at the time visit with Tanya to give her another video that would help my case, because it showed the victim who said that he never met me, in my house. Tanya told me that she didn't have the video and that she wasn't helpful. But now that I spoke to her she stated that Tanya said I didn't need the video. All of what I'm saying I have proof.

Tonya is one of the best lawyers around! She got charges that carried a 5 year sentence, dropped! She’s definitely worth the money!! Thank you Mrs.Tonya, for everything you’ve done!
