Attorney Lorena Cardama took my money and failed to deliver. I hired here for a divorce, asked for specific things regarding alimony and property, Lorena failed to listen to my requests, and didn’t look for my best interest. It was hard to reach her. Almost every attempt to contact her was ignored and when I got answers via email they were from her assistant. There was severe lack of communication throughout this process. I was never sent copies of the documents filed and she recommended for me to sign a settlement agreement that was not in my best interest to avoid going through litigation/trial. I believe this lawyer takes advantage of people in vulnerable situations. Please do yourself a favor, use a qualified lawyer who actually listens and respond to their clients’ needs.

I came here almost 3 years ago I paid $1000 as retainer. My ex dropped the case a few weeks after I paid retainer. I called Lorena office to cancel service and inquire about refund since no work was done on the case. Still waiting for reply ????. Communication is not good at all. I'm single mom of 3 and every dollar counts. If work had been done then I would have no problem not receiving a refund but, nothing at all was done except a letter drafted stating she was now my attorney. That's it. #Notfair.

I CHILD SUPPORT MODIFICATION THAT TOOK 3 Years! I have really experienced Lorena as my lawyer. Not sure about other people that posted a review, Anyone can post a review but the question is did they really used her? Anyway she was my attorney for 3 years. I only stayed with her cause her couldn’t rehire another lawyer and pay another retainer. I just prayed a lot honestly. Basically it was a very stressful three years and she didn’t make it any easier for me. Extremely poor at communication. You can NEVER get a hold of her through cell phone. She doesn’t answer calls/ text. I was always having to check my case online and then reaching out to her Mom (secretary) via email to get details what was submitted. They are hardly in the office... always having answering service. The ONE email she ever personally sent me was to give her a 5 star review after 3 years! This was in June of this year. I strongly didn’t want to lie. There are still stuff submitted up to now, since June.. emailed, left messages, NO answer! I have no idea why she has not answered me, maybe cause I didn’t put a review . I even gave her more money than she asked for, so I’m sure it’s not about money. Several lawyers told me to make a complaint to the board. Believe me, I’m not the type to post a review much less a negative review but I believe there are just professions (especially the ones that took an oath) That you need to. This review may help someone else. She really need to realize her work can effect/ change people’s lives.

Lorena is an amazing lawyer and resource for me, my family, and my business. She is always providing knowledge and guidance through trying times. Always a helping hand for her clients. She feels more like family than a lawyer. I am greatful to have her support and expertise.
