The Cruz Law Office

I've gone to Mr. Cruz's office for a couple years now and never had any complaints.They always did a great job. A week ago I reached out to them to ask to obtain a copy of my files, the receptionist told me they would call back 24-48 hours. Waited to hear from them and never did. I reached out again twice just to tell me the same thing that they would call back. Its been a week. Seems like I have to be chasing them to obtain what I need. Feeling disappointed on the lack of communication.

I was disappointed to learn upon my arrival for a scheduled in-person meeting that it was instead conducted online, without prior notice from your team. This seems to be a standard practice, as evidenced by the setup within your office, including a screen, webcam, and sound system, positioned for client interactions. An advance disclosure of this possibility would have allowed me to make an informed decision, potentially saving both time and resources. Furthermore, the process of submitting documents via email for review by Cruz, although well-intentioned, felt inefficient given the circumstances. It would also be beneficial for clients if the types of cases your clinic is equipped to handle, particularly regarding criminal matters, were communicated clearly upfront. This transparency would greatly assist in managing expectations and planning accordingly.

BEWARE AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME HERE. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews because now I’m experiencing it. ONE YEAR AND I DID NOT HEAR ANYTHING FROM THIS OFFICE! No communication of what was going on with my case or what the next steps will be. I asked what the result of the foia and I was told she needs manager approval to send that info to me. Two weeks passed no call. I called back again trying to get information and was told different things. I wanted to make an appointment to speak directly to the lawyer and I can’t even do that when I’m already talking to someone in the office. Was told someone will reach out to me in 24-48 hours so that I can make an appointment with my lawyer. And of course 4 days pass and no call back. Even the email I sent my documents to when I started the case was suddenly invalid. I guess the person no longer worked there and they didn’t even communicate that. I called the office to change my address they said someone will reach out. No one did and I had to go on NVC online and do it myself. It’s like you don’t even have a lawyer. OVERALL THIS HAS BEEN A VERY BIG MISTAKE GOING IN THIS OFFICE. TO THE STAFFS/LAWYER HERE. NO EXCUSE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO MAKE. YOU WERE HIRED FOR A SERVICE. THE MONEY PEOPLE PAY YOU IS NOT A JOKE AND GOOD AND CLEAR COMMUNICATION SHOULD BE NON-NEGOTIABLE.
