Ellison Law Firm handled my traffic citation promptly with professional service. Communication was quick and easy. They were extremely courteous on the phone when we discussed my citation. I would recommend them.

I had gotten my first speeding ticket and the Ellison Law Firm was beyond amazing with helping me resolve it. They communicated very well (emails and phone calls/ voicemail!!) They were very professional and went above and beyond in a situation that I was very unfamiliar with!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!! My family and I will definitely use them again if God forbid we get tickets!!

I really do hate to give bad reviews for black businesses. I called this attorney because I wanted to support an African-American law firm to help with a family/real estate matter. Attorney Ellison seemed very pleasant when I initially contacted him about the matter. I booked a consultation for $150 and we gave him the more detailed facts of the case. This was about 3 months ago. In the interim we have had little to no communication from his firm. Messages, emails and calls went unanswered and unreturned. After repeated attempts to get information we were finally told that he could not assist with the case. That information would have been useful months ago. I'm not sure what's going on with this law firm. Perhaps there is some compelling reason for the poor service they seem to be providing these days. I do hope that whatever the cause, it's fixed so that people don't waste their time. Again I hate to give bad reviews to Black businesses but at the same time people need to be held accountable because while African Americans are trying to support black owned businesses, those black owned businesses owe us the same level of service we might get elsewhere.

Our Journey with this Attorney was the worst stressful Journey we have ever encountered. I don't know how he does as an Defense Attorney, but as a Real Estate Attorney he is very unprofessional and dishonest. My family and I went into Contract with a Home Seller, and hoped to close on the House we fell in love with. Unbeknownst to us, there was a mistake made with the deed and was brought to Attorney Ellison attention. After several weeks of lying to us about when he was going to correct the deed; he finally corrected the deed in a real slow, unconcerned, and lethargic manner. Consequently his slow reaction to our issue delayed the process and closing by several weeks. To me, he had no concern about our limited time to close the deal. I wouldn't recommend his Real Estate service to anyone. His years of experience does not show through how he treats people.

In all in after weeks of always calling his office and struggling always to get in touch with him and not knowing nothing about what was going on with my case, I had court in October and he showed up and didn’t even speak to me before making another court date. So when he finally did speak he didn’t know i had everything that i need to end it so all he did was apologize and told me i had to show up for this case again. I work at night so when he told me the date of the new case i had to come straight from work in November and he didn't show up until the court was closed that day. Wasting my time and energy and i still had to work that night! He assumed i got it continued but i didn’t cause he misinformed me 3x that i didn’t even have to be there, so i left. 2 weeks went by until i finally decided to show up to his office to reschedule a new date a month later because he never reached out to me for a update. This case got prolonged for no reason all because his communication is trash and He’s unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this lawyer to anyone HONESTLY people read the REVIEWS.
