Several years ago I was in a serious car accident that caused me numerous injuries and a chronic debilitating medical condition. I spent several years with another attorney working on my case, getting minimal movement, feeling very much out of the loop about my case, and never received a settlement offer from the other drivers insurance company (after the admitted liability) besides the initial small sum offered a few weeks after the accident. I had no experience working with lawyers, but feeling uncomfortable with the situation I decided to contact Gomez Trial Attorneys and consider making a change in representation. That was the best decision I ever made. Everything that had bothered me about my previous representation, Victoria and Russell (the two attorneys the primarily worked on my case I had direct contact with), proved to be the polar opposite. They were kind, personable, clearly incredibly competent, and demonstrated right out the gate extreme dedication to my case and belief that my hardships should be fairly compensated. From the moment I first met with them to discuss my case, I knew I was in good hands, and my anxiety about the process evaporated. My instincts proved correct. They handled my case incredibly well, keeping me constantly in the loop, responding to every question/email I had (of which there were MANY over the course of my case), and going to bat for me against the insurance company with every move they made. When I was forced to go to a hostile exam from the defendants 'expert' doctor, they sent one of their staff members with me, to help me get through the experience with as little anxiety as possible, and support me. Although I was terrified of the idea of going to court (having seen one too many movies about the court process and aggressive/hostile defense attorneys), Victoria and Russ helped ease my fears, while helping me prepare for trial with a realistic and calmer outlook. They assured me throughout the process I should get a fair result, and they were willing to proceed to trial in order to make sure I got that, if necessary. My case ended up settling about one week before my trial date, with a result that was better than I had ever hoped for, and I am absolutely certain this was due to the dedication, hard-work, and thorough preparation, that Victoria and Russell put into my case. And almost most importantly for me, even after my case had settled, Victoria and Russell contacted me multiple times to congratulate me and check up on me, and demonstrated once again, what caring and decent people they are even after my case was over. I am very happy that I chose Gomez Trial Attorneys to represent me. Just finished settling a personal injury case caused by getting rear ended in my car which resulted in an extensive knee surgery.
