Buyer BEWARE!!! I have never ever posted a bad review, on fact I’ve only posted a review a couple times ever and it’s taken several months since the last and final incident, but I feel it’s the right thing to do. This estate planning attorney is rude, obnoxious and the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a professional of his caliber. It took him years (since 2020) and my trust still was incomplete when the final encounter occurred in late 2023. I could never get an appointment to see him much less a return email, phone call or docs I requested. He copied and pasted word for word my “non-legal” detail of my specific distribution in what he refers to as Article II versus even reviewing it to see what needed to be put into legal terminology . I find when I have my entire Trust redone (which literally took less than two weeks by the way) that it was not totally enforceable. My new and legally correct document was over three times the length of the cookie cutter doc he provided and covered multiple things he never even brought up. I had no idea how bad it was until I finally hired another truly knowledgeable attorney to redo at full price “again” my documents. The worst of it was the man was condescending, yelled at me multiple times and even hung up on me twice when I brought to his attention things I’d never received that I’d been promised and the issue of calling, emailing and requesting support with no response. I even reported him to the Georgia Bar Association but their exact response was “Although these actions are unprofessional, a bad personality is not grounds for any type of action”. At the time I reported him was the same day he hung up on me and I had no idea the documents he provided were not legally correct and part were unenforceable. My advice is to run as far from this attorney as possible.

I have known Kevin and his office personnel for 10 years. When I decided to get my own estate planning I called on him. I was not disappointed. They are very professional and informed. My husband and daughter attended the meeting so as a family we could get all of our questions answered. I feel confident that when it is needed, he snd his staff will be there for me and my family to help us through the process. I highly recommend J. Kevin Thorpe, P.C.

This law firm is terrible. My facility has been trying to talk to the lawyer that is handling a case for a mutual client, for 3 weeks. We never get passed the rude receptionist desk. They constantly state someone will call us back, but they never do. I will never recommend this firm to any of my clients, and my facility will not accept any client dealing with this firm.

Outstanding Professional Advice from Kevin Tharpe! My wife and I used Kevin for our own personal estate and trust planning. We were so pleased that we recommend him to our business friends, who also used Kevin for their business and personal estate planning. They also were extremely pleased. Now our adult children are using Kevin. He always explains the options to us, assumes nothing, and educate us first before decisions are made.
