John Marshall Law School is an excellent choice for a law career. Right now, the school is run by John Corkery, the finest quality teacher you could ever find. I graduated the night division in January 1991, and this school has tremendously prepared me for a great legal career. You will find that this school is not only the largest school in the country, but it is located in the heart of the Chicago downtown loop which provides conveniences beyond belief. You would be wise to select this school as your choice.nBest Regards, Julio Pimentel, Attorney/CPA

I attended the John Marshal School of Law in 2008 until 2011, and it was by far one of the most riveting experiences I have ever had academically. I learned a tremendous amount, but most specifically, I had an opportunity to do so in an environment which is conducive of actual practice. nnThe school has one of the top writing programs, and the majority of the professors are practicing attorneys. Additionally, the program is more about actual practice as opposed to legal theory and the idealism surrounding the law. nnIf you are interested in learning a ton, attending school in the epicenter of the Chicago scene, and developing a lasting set of memories, then by all means attend the John Marshall Law School. The Dean of the school, John Corkery is one of the most genuine and insightful individuals you will ever hope to meet, and someone who will ensure that your needs and educational goals are assisted by the staff!

I attended and graduated in spring 2001. I enjoyed the entire experience immensely; from the excellent support of my professors to the applicable legal writing classes I took throughout all four years which has helped immeasurably with appeals, complaints, motions, responses, etc. I was also very impressed with the faculty's help and encouragement in finding internships and employment. I will be forever grateful and would highly recommend to anyone. n My sister went to Yale Law and both of us practiced briefly in Illinois, and I believe that, despite her top tier education, I had a better grasp of Illinois and Federal Civil Procedure based on those who taught me. I would like to single out Ralph Ruebner, Mark Wojcik, and Karen Halverson.
