Jeremy was amazing. My husband and I both had a situation involving a BB gun that was ridiculous and Jeremy stepped up and got the courts to accept the community service we did and allow us to live a FREE life outside of the crazy California law system. He was very communicative during the entire process and we can't say enough good things about him. The bad review is for our other attorney who screwed things up that Jeremy actually had to handle! :)

Mr Karpel, thank you for representing my son. My son was a college student that ended up having a severe drug problem, blacked out and was faced with 5 felonies in California! All sentences that could have kept this 21-year-old man in jail for the majority of his adult life. He had a clean record prior to this. I had a lawyer that wanted him to take a deal that could put him in jail for a very long time. I fired the previous lawyer and hired Jeremy, best money anyone could spend. He was efficient, always available to speak to me, and was able to have an evaluation done to see if my son was considered to be a criminal, and ensured he was in treatment for his drug and alcohol problem. With Jeremy's direction, knowledge of the law, discussions with the Judge (Jeremy educated the Judge regarding evaluations) my son spent 30 days in an evaluation and received 3 years' probation. Jeremy was also able to get 4 of the charges dropped. Fast forward 2.5 years later, Mr. Karpel still checks in. I am happy to report that without Mr. Karpel's help, we could have another kid institutionalized. If you are looking for representation, this is the lawyer to go to. He get's the job done.
