I started working with Ms. Beach fright before the pandemic so I understand while there was a delay in my case being resolved. However, once the courts opened back up, the communication with Ms. Beach and her office is practically non-existent. I've tried calling, emailing, and texting her to no avail. Meanwhile, after confirming she had sent my paperwork to the courts, when I called the courts to confirm, they mentioned she had never sent in anything. There's zero follow-up and my monies have already been paid. I feel like her ( the office) has taken my money and ran. I'm looking into reporting this matter to the State Bar of North Carolina.

Absolutely the worst lawyer I've ever had, she has had very very minimal contact with me about my court case for a simple possession charge. Paid her $500 cash and still feels like I'm fighting my own court case. My lawyer with ANOTHER completely different court case in GREENE COUNTY had to tell me about my court date for Wayne county instead of the lawyer I ALREADY PAID CASH FOR. Called her office this whole last week with no response.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I will be reporting this lawyer to the Bar association. Sometimes, you have to deal with the uncomfortable task of asking a lawyer to not represent you due to some kind of issue. My issue with Ms. Beach was the lack of communication. I went to her office and simply asked for better communication and was told, "If its not getting to you, that's the post office's problem." Ok. Mind you, she gave me a direct cell phone number and advised me that I could reach out to her with any questions, whenever. I am respectful, so of course I only reached out to her during business hours. I assure you she did not get back to me "promptly" as she insists. I am on my third court date for my speeding ticket now and finally found out yesterday, February 1st, after having to go to her office, that my court date on January 28 was extended to February. I texted her the day before, the day of, and the day after court asking her questions and offering her assistance. And heard nothing back. So I decided that this was more stressful and frustrating than it needed to be and felt as if someone else could better assist me. I was raised right, so I sent her a message telling her that I would like to dismiss her and my reasoning. Very simple, nothing rude. She then, at almost 10:00 o'clock at night, responds to me with NAME CALLING. Yes, this LAWYER resorted to NAME CALLING. She called me nasty and said I was no longer allowed in her office. I could not believe what I was reading, she made me so upset and uncomfortable. DO NOT GO TO THIS WOMAN FOR LEGAL ASSISTANCE! I have all of my ignored questions and awful response of hers still in my phone for anyone wanting to see how she speaks to her clients. She is an awful, rude, and mean individual, never mind lawyer.

This lady literally took my money and did nothing. I tried contacting her via phone and email, no response. When we would communicate it was so chaotic and she would blame her personal issues on her professionalism. She then lied and said she sent documentation to the courts on my behalf. The courts said they never received anything or any paperwork. Just full of lies. A refund is due!

Martha forgot about my court date the first date and then didn’t have my information correct for the rescheduled date so it was rescheduled again. And she never informed me of any of this, it was like pulling teeth to hear anything at all from her! I had to physically go to her office to even hear my court date was rescheduled because she is pretty much unreachable. DO NOT RECOMMEND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
