I went today 9/23/16 he was a great lawyer outstanding performance in the court room. He knows what he is doing trust me he's very good on landlord and tenants. He will make sure you owe nothing ( if he can) my credit is not messed up because of him no eviction because of him. He just want his money lol. He just needs to work on that lol.
From what I am reading here this guy is almost like a movie clichè of a sleezy, low-level, ambulance chasing, creepo attorney. The one that conjures up imagery in your head similar to the classic iteration of the sleezy used car salesman. Cheapskate attorney who wants the most and wants to give the least. Thinks he deserves more than his worth on the merit he graduated law school which is not a daunting task. I was late paying my rent because i forgot to mail the check thinking my former live-in lover dropped it off. They said I owed them over $2,000 on a letter post marked a day before I squared up the rent. The next day I get an ambulance-chaser hire me as your attorney letter to fight off an eviction and balnce for the rent I just paid. The letter kept hinting at if we win its like you won $2300 as if he would inevitably want the classic 35-55% cut from this sum. The letter was on hot-pink stationary. It was drafted with a very elementary look as if composed by a child in 7th grade computer class who was learning how to properly format a document for the first time. He typed his name at the bottom of the letter in the cursive Microsoft Office font. Very tacky. His letter states you most wear "upscale attire" when visiting his "office" which sounds like he is sub leasing the corner of another leasee's office or something to that effect. He probably has no control of the dress code having to drag his client through another business to sit with him. I guess that JFK address does look good on paper though, huh, Allan? LOL! Really though, not even business casual, but "upscale"? Basically, I need to make sure I am draped in Dior and Valentino with Montcler winter wear in full effcet as well? Lol. This guy needs a lot of work. Not only on his abilities as a barrister, but also his marketing and business acumen. Just terrible. I wonder what kind of living he makes in all honesty being such an inept professional employee? I respect the dircet-mail marketing approach, but the hot pink stationary, verbiage, and format of the letter are terrible. The reviews here all speak the same basic gist about this guy, so its got to be true. Stay away! Better yet call for a consultation if you want to be shocked and amused, and then share your experience here. Lol.
I recommended to not use him at all. He asks questions that are personal, and not regarding the case, and demeans you for the response, if not to his liking. I also gave a call to his office, clearly stated my name twice in the message, and when called back, he asked my name. He speaks very fast, and when done the same in efforts to give details, he asks you to speak slower but cuts you off. The worse part is that he stated do you want a lawyer or to make a speech. When I asked if he was even a lawyer due to his manners, he hung up the phone on me.
My fiance were up against a trashy property management group who were playing dirty [ to put it mildly.] and Allan was able to workout the deal that he promised my fiance and I during our first meeting. He's eccentric but he's good at what he does too.
He is the worst don't give him a dime because as soon as you do he will start disrespecting and degrading you. He's not a good lawyer and you'll never meet him he's more than likely working for the person your in a dispute with. The attorney I recieved wasn't him she didn't know what to do in court for my case or the other person case and the judge even commented.
