A very strange place with NO answering services and no receptionists. They are affiliated with the UFT. How? Why? You must trust one star reviews. They are also very wiggly and indirect. Their secretary will email you with their discount offer (20%) but they would not say what was the principal charge. They also wouldn't respond to your emails or your calls at any time of the day. And if you choose to visit their office it will be shut and locked like an empty hotel room. A very strange office indeed. Why would the UFT choose this firm?

My mother is a UFT member who chose this law firm as the one to do her will and trust. Everything went well until after we received the draft. I received a email stating to look over the draft and that the original attorney who handled the case was no longer with the firm but they had others who could assist. We had no issue with another Attorney taking the case on. We looked over the draft and were ready to sign. That’s when everything went left. We requested a day to sign the paperwork in the city as the original Attorney stated he would do. No date was ever given to us and an Attorney never responded. My mother then ended up being hospitalized and again I reached out to see if they could come to the hospital. Again no response from them except from Jennifer who is not an Attorney and needed one to contact us. Be careful as once you sign on for them to do the work for you, they do not provide a refund once they send you a draft of your will or trust paperwork. For you to get a refund after the draft of your paperwork is complete, it appears you have to go through arbitration. On February 19th I reached out to them so that we could get the paperwork signed. It is now March 11 and I have not received a response. Jennifer who works there has been amazing at taking my calls, responding to my emails and trying to get the help my mother requires, however no matter how hard she tries, no one cares enough to return our calls. I have emailed and called many times and again no response. My mother is currently in the hospital and extremely stressed day by day as her paperwork is not signed yet. I requested a refund numerous times as I lost faith in them to do the job but have yet to receive it. At this point I requested arbitration and I’m waiting to see if they will send my mother’s case to arbitration so she may get a refund. With all going on the last thing I need having my mother stressed in a hospital.
