Carey Thompson & his office worked fiercely, for my cause. I truly believe that he knew how important it was to me and my family. He realized the injustice of the situation. I have been fighting Social Security Disability for what I at least 7 years now. I have grandmal & petimal seizuire with no warning as to when they will happen. My cognitive skills have been tested & the results basically came back that my memory has suffered dramatically from all the scarring that the seizures has left on my brain. SSD denied my claim, saying I had improved before I found Mr. Thompson. But with his help he was able to make the ALJ Judge see there were 0 jobs I would be able to safely do. However for whatever reason the Judge still ruled against me. If I had to go back in time & choose any attorney, I would still pick Carey Thompson. He made a good argument & a convincing one with sound medical proof from more than one of my doctors saying I was not able to work. However the Judge disregarded the evidence & denied my appeal 2 times. Me. Thompson was then good enough to give me a good referral for Federal Court. This attorney was extremely rude, IN MY OPINION he is only interested in cases that will make him rich and not about helping people who are paying him anyways! Disgusting attitude and in my many years of dealing with a multitude of attorneys for different cases, I’ve never run across one so rude from the moment he answered the phone. His first and ONLY question was how much money does our harasser have despite us saying that’s not what we’re in it for and regardless we’re paying.

After 2 denials I researched for a SSDI attorney. I came across this law firm and took a chance on hiring them. I am forever thankful for Mr. Carey Thompson and his entire staff. They made me feel so welcomed. They didn't treat as a numbered client I was treated as family. Mr. Thompson worked hard and fought hard for my case in the appeals courts. I filed for SSDI on my own thinking since I had a 100% VA connected disability rating through the VA that I would be approved. I was denied about two months later. I googled online ssdi attorneys near me. I decided to call their number. They sent a packet for me to fill out and the rest is history. They filed my appeal for reconsideration on 6/12/2018. Yesterday at (8-19-18) @ 8:01 AM I received a call from the Fort Worth social security office telling me I was approved. To be honest it’s still unbelievable to me. I thought for sure I would go in front of a judge some day and possibly even lose that. Then start all over. Call this law office if u feel u deserve benefits that were denied to you.
