When I review my financial decisions, hiring Carl Hayes was the worst decision of my life. I made the mistake of paying for his full services upfront in advance. He rendered little to none of these services and then fabricated a handwritten call log. Carl lied about these phone calls he made which never took place. He had written on a piece of paper that he called me and my parents for many, many hours. He charged me for all of those fabricated hours. Since I didn't subpoena his phone records I ended up losing $5,000 and he never even represented me in court. In total, he may have worked about 1-2 hours max and refused to refund me any of my money after I decided to hire a more competent lawyer in his place. He chipped away at my $5,000 retainer with his $ 250-an-hour calls he never made. This was almost a decade ago and I've yet to encounter someone stoop so low.

This law office handles it's business. Black owned and operated down to earth staff. Mr. Hayes is a great lawyer and anyone could understand why he has late hours, he is the only law office I know that respond within the same day and it doesn't matter how you reach out they respond. He is well priced and very worth every dollar.

Does not make good recommendations for his clients. Does not do what’s in the best interest for his clients. Beware before you spend your money.

Carl Hayes is a rude and unwelcoming man. Would never seek him for any legal advice.
