Tom seems like a nice person but I get the impression that he might be burnt out. Tom has not contacted me about my case since the deadline passed about two weeks ago. I know this sound harsh but maybe it is time to retire Tom?

I've been using Finkelstein Law for several years and have recommended them to numerous of my clients, family & friends. All have been very satisfied with the service. His openness in setting out the possible outcomes of the situation have sometimes not really been what the clients want to hear, but I've always felt, that it's better you know that before progressing in law suites. Excellent negotiating skills in dealing with other Lawyers and obtaining a fair & just settlement for his clients. Keep up the good work.

Innatentive and rude. My mom was dying and he told up we needed power of attorney, so my mom took an extra blood transfusion to drag herself to his office. The original document was typed by the receptionist and contained different fonts. We pointed this out and she printed a new one. The lawyer came out for about 2 minutes to sign the document and then said "pleasure doing business with you" and went back to his office. When my Mom died, we were told by the funeral home that we actually needed a notarized will, so the $350 for power of attorney was a complete waste. My mom was a nurse in several provinces, and we paid 1500 to keep the lawyer on retainer to get the pension plans. He did nothing for 7 months and then wanted to close the case. My father had to contact the offices himself to get the packages. This man is a waste of time and money. I would give 0 stars if I could.

*AVOID* - Worst Lawyer Ever! If you had poor interaction with this lawyer, please please contact the BC Law Society and file a complaint ( Google: BC Law Society Complaints , and follow the instructions) He nearly cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars due to his incompetence. Fortunately, a secondary agent was able to save me from Mr Finkelstein's overt incompetence. This man should be dishonorably removed from The Bar

Have been dealing with this office since 2019. Staff & Tom are very professional and knowledgeable. I am very happy with their service and recommend them to my family and friends.
