My elderly mother went to Melissa for a revision of an estate documents, will, trust, health care proxy etc in October 2023. My mother eventually received documents 6 months later only after multiple calls were made to the office. There were many excuses from Melissa throughout this process and she generally blamed her staff for all her shortcomings. As a family we have serious concerns regarding the legal services that Melissa states she provides and failed to do so. For example, a new trust was requested to which she agreed but ultimately she did not furnish. She only changed the will. She was entrusted with $3000 in fees with the expectation of receiving competent and diligent representation but she failed to fulfill these professional obligations. Her actions constituted a breach of the agreement and failure to meet professional standards expected of an attorney. A letter was sent to Melissa requesting a refund but letter was never acknowledged. My mother suffered financial losses as she had to go to another attorney to procure the proper documents. Additionally, this also caused emotional distress for my mother and family members.

We’re having the same experience as others. We gave her money for a trust over six months ago, and it took three appointment visits to finally get something to sign. It had mistakes, and despite multiple attempts to contact, still have nothing. And don’t want anything but a refund at this point. Now come to find out after sending a certified letter that she’s no longer there, and has left no forwarding address. Exploring other paths.

If I can give ZERO stars, I would. I strongly discourage anyone from using the Law Office of Melissa A. Gleick. I hired her for legal assistance with my LLC's and have been repeatedly ignored when requesting my LLC's books and documents. Despite multiple emails, voicemails, texts, and even a certified letter, I have received no response. Because of her complete lack of responsiveness, one of my LLCs was dissolved, causing unnecessary complications and financial loss. I am left filing a complaint with the MA Office of Bar Council and BBO. When she did respond in the past, she consistently blamed her staff or lack thereof for delays and disorganization or say her boyfriend will be in touch with me rather than taking responsibility. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, especially from an attorney entrusted with critical legal matters. After reading other reviews, I see that I am not the only client experiencing serious delays, lack of communication, and failure to deliver promised services. Attorneys have a legal and ethical obligation to provide requested documents to their clients in a timely manner. If you value professionalism, responsiveness, and integrity in your legal representation, I would highly advise looking elsewhere.

I paid her for a complete estate plan. Wills, trusts, health care proxy, etc. She did a great job setting it up, then just stopped responding. I have emailed multiple times, made multiple calls, sent my questions with assurances that she would review them and respond, and have received NOTHING. I cannot recommend you trust this office with such critical and sensitive items like your future plans

Stay away... completely disorganized and incompetent operation! After months of delays and attempts to follow up she delivered nothing that was promised. Then when a refund of deposit was requested my mother-in-law was lied to and completely ignored. She deserves to be disbarred.
