Paid them $200 for a consultation and set up an appointment. I was sent a text message about an hour before my consult to confirm or cancel the appointment. I confirmed it and called in when I was instructed to previously. The girl on the phone informed me that "sorry, he is still busy with someone else, he'll call you back later." Ok? So why the appointment and the text message etc? He called me back 30 minutes later, didn't even bother to apologize and came across like I was bothering him and what did I want. I told him I was not comfortable with him and if they didn't have anyone else to just refund my money and I'd go elsewhere. They found someone else to talk to me. This guy sounded even less interested. He literally talked to me for 10-15 minutes and provided zero advice on what I should do. He said he would call the DCSE office for me and get some info. He left me a message the next week asking me if I was receiving ssdi or ssi benefits. The guy clearly paid zero attention to what I told him as I only receive VA benefits. I figured by the name of the firm they would be advocates for men, judging by how they conducted themselves with the appointment and my interaction with them this is not the case. Save your money and go somewhere else. 200 bucks for ten minutes on the phone, a missed appointment, and complete rudeness.....No thanks. Call Liz Wood, she will give you a free consult and doesn't act like you are wasting her time.
