I came to this place needing help in suing my former employer and after my explanation Atty. Spencer, instructed me to go to the court and file an extension and also asked that my witnesses provide her an affidavit of support that would help my case so they can review.nnWeird enough during the consultation, her main focus was how much $$$ I have in savings to pay for Attorney fees. Since I have resigned and currently jobless, I told her that I can do installment as they proceed but will not be able to put down the $5k deposit she required. She somewhat agreed stating that I will have to pay them installment including contingency if I have enough to support my case. After completing all the request she had, I sent numerous email following up but did not get any response and three weeks later I was able to reach her (Atty. Spencer) by phone only to be told that I need to get a Pro Bono Attorney from the court as they fired one of their Attorney and will not be able to represent and assist me further but looking at my case, she think that I have a good case. Wow! So I am not being able to get their service because the Attorney I was supposed to get was fired (which she made it sound like) or I dont have $$$ like I have explained in the beginning? Well Thanks for letting me know three weeks later and for wasting valuable court time and robbing me of my consultation fee.nnDont waste your time coming here. This firm is unreliable, untimely and inefficient and only concern of their fees.nnAdded response directly from Atty. This firm works hard alright, as in responding three weeks later to get an update.nnBtw, did I say I cant pay? I just said installment as they proceed or as the case progresses. nn**update from her response**nnYep. checked my email as well and the offer is, pay $600 to amend the case that I will have to process but she will NOT state her name as my Attorney.
